Academics & Faculty : As far as faculty is concerned, Chandigarh University has a well-qualified faculty, including a maximum of Socrates.The University has a dynamic academic fraternity drawn from top universities nationally and internationally. CU offers the most conducive student-faculty ratio of 14:1, leading to 85 per cent student satisfaction. Faculty train the students with Latest Teaching Aids and Live Projects.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : For admission in B.Tech, the eligibility is 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, and Biology with at least 50% marks in the aggregate. Chandigarh University organizes CUCET every year. CUCET is the scholarship test organized by the university. Students can get a 100% scholarship in it.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get admission, you have to give CUCET exam for different fields, and if you get good marks, you can also avail of a scholarship. Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% of marks and having atleast participated in the Inter College, Inter-Zonal, district, or school competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU, IOA, SGFI, Govt. of India. Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with 50% marks (BPE or BPES), Or Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 45% marks & studied physical education as compulsory/elective subject. Placements & Internships : The placement record of CU is no secret. The University has a Limca Book of World Records for a maximum number of Companies visiting any campus for recruitments in a year. Over 500+ companies have recruited students from CU during campus placements. CU was also one of the sites for Mega Job Mela organized in conjunction with Punjab Government.
