The best part about MSRIT is its placement.The college provides placement in very good companies to those who met the selection criteria.Companies like Infosys, Google, LinkedIn, and Yahoo is some of the core companies visiting the campus for recruitment of students.The minimum packages offered by these companies are around 400000INR, some companies like Microsoft are known to pick up few students with a package of 800000.

     MSRIT have ex-MSRITIANS visiting the junior batches and gives them a formal talk about the companies they work and things we must do in order to get what we want. We have a very supportive crew to guides us if we do our part well.  

The campus is really huge ,its like a mini city within the heart of bangalore.You can find anything a person would want within the campus.It took me an entire sem to properly understand my block .The labs are equipped with necessary instruments and they regularly replace old ones.They have more then one libraries which stay open till 11:30pm during exams for students.They have a digital library which can be accessed twenty four-seven.WiFi is provided throughout the campus ,and now the Msrit is using the new payse card system within the campus for tranction and all.

Sports facilities are good with excellent coaches.MSRIT has separate hostels ,there are around 4 hostels.I am not sure of the prices they charge.Nothing about it is out off the world but they are decent,liveable ones .The girls hostel is quite small and they have to share rooms with 2-3 people .Mess food is not bad but you get bored after awhile.They prepare all the dishes using the same masalas.

 MSRIT IS AN AUTONOMOUS COLLEGE under the VTU ,they have there own curriculum ,exam but the degree is awarded by VTU.More  formal information like its ranking and all will be available in any website.

                      Entrance exam one should write in order to get into MSRIT are CET and COMEDK for engineering courses.NATA for architecture courses .The eligibility criteria are

• 85% and above percentage secured during their 12 th broad.
• must write CET or COMEDK exam.

Once your CET or COMEDK results are out one should go to the admission office with the following documents 12th marks card , 10th marks card, Addhar card ,CET or COMEDK ranking and if you belong SC/ST the do take that proof as well.The cutoff ranking for various courses varies yearly.For further information you can contact-080 23607902.

Basically all the engineering courses consist of 4 years and one year has two sem,therefore totally it consist of 8 sems.All the sems class start at 9 o clock.We have a well planned timetable for each day.Projects will be decided based on the subject teachers even first year students will have to do projects.During my first sem i was doing a project on waterpurifier using nano-materials,it was an awesome experience . We have to write three (CIE) internals for 30 marks each and best of those two marks is consider then if we have a proper average we are allowed to take SEE exam which is the semester end examination.

            The method of teaching is very nice and teachers are very friendly so anyone can approach them without any hesitation.All the teacher in MSRIT have a PhD or masters in that subject.Overall experience in Msrit was really good and could not ask anything more .Just the perfect place to complete my course and nurture my potential. They do encourage students not only to excel in academics but also to take part in extra-curricular activities. 

The fee structure is different for each student depending on the entrance examination and the rank one obtains.Since I obtained my seat in MSRIT through COMEDK I had to pay around 172000INR yearly.The fee structures varies according to once ranks and the course we opt for.There is scholarship offers for students likes Post Metric Scholarship to SC/ST, FEE CONCESSION to category |,|| and |||.and DEFENCE scholarship is also available.They even have hostel facilities for student, they have fee concession for students coming under the categories.

But the average number of students applying for the scholarships are very few and some don't even know about these scholarships.Most of the scholarships are only for the SC/ST people from general don't stand a chance but we can use the ALUMNI scholarships.

Take loan only if very necessary otherwise obtain nice rank and you don't need to worry.Would like to mention MSRIT is pretty costly. 

MSRIT gives equal attention to extra curicular activities ,and does all the possible things to promote the students talents.They have many clubs and associations depending on once interest.They have NSS club which is a social work club,many dance clubs with different forms of dances,a singing club ,they even have a beatboxing clubs,a photograghy club, nature club and even theatre club for those of you interested in acting.

UDBHAV is an annual intercollege cultural fest thats when the talents of students are displayed.Its a mega event and sees lot of participation from many colleges across the state.Apart from that there is departmental fests also.Basically msrit gives opportunity for one to shine in dramatics, sports and robotics .
