Placements and Internships
- Key companies at SASTRA University are paypal,Microsoft and TCS.
- Average Salary per annum will be around 5 lakhs and to mention about the peak for the same it will be around 12lakhs
- Almost about 90 percent of batch will get placed each year.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 3 hostels with adequate facitilities for both boys and girls and the hostel fee for a month will be around 4000 per person along with the food which is mostly a south indian cuisine
- Coming into the domain of studies in each classroom there will be an 1-n relationship between a student and the staff.
- Library and other related resources are above par to be honest and it will provide a suitable atmosphere to learn and explore
- Wi-Fi network is accesbile round the clock at SASTRA University.
- Safety along with freedom will be equally provided in the campus which pretty much look like Feel at Home atmosphere.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- I wrote JEE examination and based on the aggregate of both the board exam and the entrance exam I finally got my desired seat at SASTRA University.
- Typical Cutoff is divided into two categories where normalized 12th score will be taken for 30% and the remaining 70% is based on the score obtained in JEE
- The process of admission was totally transparent and was based on merit.
Academics and Faculty
- It starts around 8:45 in the morning and continues till 5:15 in the evening where each subject will have a lecture of about an hour.
- During the entire process of 90 days there will be projects in different perspectives and exams will be on each month which will terminate with the semester examination.
- Method of teaching will be more towards application part and so far so good.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee at SASTRA University will be around 40k-50k per semester.
- Every year the scholorship will be given to students based on two categories: 2% of student who secured more than 9 cgpa will get around 5000 and 3-10 percent of student who secured more than 8 cgpa will get around 3000.
- On speaking about loan,yes it is easily accesible from CUB.
Clubs and Associations
- Ample of clubs which are activitely functioning on various domains at SASTRA University.
- We have collosseum,Daksh and Kuruksastra which will focus on sports, technical and culturals respectively.
- Life inside the campus is something which everyone should experience where we learn a lot about and for life.

Academics & Faculty : The class timings are normally from 8:45 am to 5:15 pm with leisure hours in between. There will be three internal assessment tests out of which the marks scored in two internal assessment tests will be added to the Internal marks. Assignments will be given at the end of the semester in all the subjects.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : SASTRA doesn't have any entrance examinations of its own but it considers the JEE MAIN marks and the board marks. If JEE MAIN is not attended then only the board marks are considered.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for joining in SASTRA is the student should have completed 12th grade and must have passed JEE MAIN for stream 1 and stream 2 is purely based on his/her 12th marks and no entrance exams are needed for SASTRA. The cut off for my course is little high and the student must have a more than 90% marks with JEE MAIN score more than 100.
