Placements and Internships
- the placements are really good and the minimum average package ranges from 3lac per annum.
- The institution organizes alumni meet once in a year in order to keep in touch with the passed out graduates.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Hostel facilities are available.
- The infrastructure is good.
- The library is well-stocked and the labs are spacious and computerized.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria-10+2 pass with aggregate of minimum 50%aggregate.
- For general category, admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the board examination and sometimes the students undergo screening and aptitude test
- For students who are not from MCC, the cut off is 88% and for MCC students the cut off is 75%
Academics and Faculty
- The college timings are from 8:30 till 3.
- We have assignments for 30 marks which will be added to our theory marks of 70 marks.
- The teaching staff is quite good.
- My overall experience in the past 1year has been pretty good.
Fees and Scholarships
- For BCom regular, the fee is around 51k per annum.
- There are even various scholarships available for meritorious students.
Clubs and Associations
- Mount Carmel is very well known for its fests.
- The main fest is Cul-ah, an inter-collegiate fest conducted annually.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You have two options to secure admission to MCC - Through CET (less fees) Directly from college (higher fees), I did not take any entrance exams. I secured admission based on my 12th standard marks. One needs to have a minimum of 70% to secure admission here. At times, you need to meet the principal if the number of seats isn't enough and you have low marks (70%-80%). Things you need to keep in mind- Get the application forms ASAP as this will avoid last-minute hassle. B.Com regular seats get filled very quickly, make sure you report to the college as soon as your results are out. Bring all your documents at once. Meet the principal if you're finding it a bit difficult to get the admissions. However, it does not guarantee admission. I secure
