2.5 Academics

Academics & Faculty : Academics in NIFT is a very relative subject to talk about. Very frankly in my course, there is a lot of scopes but due to the limitations of the INDIAN education system which keeps students busy from 9 am to 5:30 pm, there is hardly any time or scope left for students to explore their talents. Here in Neft, the quality of teaching and course content is overwhelming but the time duration is the hindrance. Professors do give time if students are suffering academically but again there is a lack of depth of knowledge in the subjects. There are many assignments which we do not even require to work on but are forced to because of the course curriculum. But on the whole, yes it is a great institute to learn and at the same time get exposure to showcase your talents.
