Placements and Internships
- The college facilitates internship at the end of 2nd year (no stipend usually)
- Key companies: Amazon, Futures First, Intuit, Nutanix, JP Morgan, ZS Associates.
- Average Salary approximately 10 LPA (14 LPA for CS)
- Alumni Network is immensely broad and helpful in securing internships and they also assist students in the MS admission procedure for colleges abroad.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
14 hostels and 2 under construction Hostel fee is minimal and included in the Rs.1.5 L per semester. It comes to about 5-6k a month. Hostels have individual rooms for students. The campus is fully residential Food in the college: Decent, but there are several eateries within the campus. The mess charges are around Rs.125 per day for 3 meals. Quality of classrooms: Air-conditioned, WiFi enabled, excellent infrastructure and projectors are present in all classrooms
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Eligibility Criteria: a minimum aggregate of 70% in the 12th board exams with not.less than 60% in any of the subjects
- Entrance Examination: BITSAT
Academics and Faculty
- Daily classes are usually from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m but some electives and labs go on till 9:00 p.m.
- Typically a student has 25-30 hours of classes in a week. 40-45 hours of classes (lectures+tutorials) per course in a semester.
- The quality of Teaching: Well at par with all top colleges in the country.
- The method of Teaching: Slides, whiteboard, assignments, pop quizzes, class discussions and presentations with a special emphasis on lab work.
Fees and Scholarships
- Rs.1.5 L per semester, 2 semesters in a year.
- Merit Scholarships to the top 10-15 students in a batch
- Merit cum Need scholarships to over 60 students who clear a CGPA cutoff of 7 and declare a Family income of less than 8 LPA.
- Loans without a collateral are easily made available by the local SBI branch.
Clubs and Associations
- There are several clubs and departments (Music Society, Dance Club, Mime Club, The Drama Club, Literary and Debating Club, Nirmaan [social change organization], Abhivyakti [Hindi Club]) and several Regional Associations [Punjabi Virsa, Maharashtra Mandal, Telugu Samiti, Sangam etc].
- Departments are in charge of fest activities Fests: Waves, Quark, Spree.
- College life is fun and relaxed in general.

To get admitted you have to clear BITSAT (The Entrance Exam) - An online exam which tests your concepts, speed and accuracy. College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is 1 girls hostel and 14 boys hostel. There is 1 more hostel for higher degree students. Some hiostels are really old but fortunately, rennovation work is going on currently. The food in the mess is satisfactory only. It is powered by sudexo. The price for breakfast and dinner are Rs. 50 and breakfast is Rs. 26. A new academic area has been conducted underground. The quality of the classes, labs are top class. The ones in the old blocks are not that great. There is the clock tower which is the most recognised building on campus. The audi can not accommodate all the students unfortunately. The rotunda is exquisute and the library is huge consisting of an insane amount of books. There is no WI-FI but every room has a LAN cable and there are PC rooms too.
