  • Every year, some key companies come to the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College for internships and placements. Girls are very lucky here that companies come and hire the capable and talented students time to time. Placements of students are all because of professors' and students' own hard work.

  • Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College infrastructure is very good. Hostel facility is not provided. Canteen is the favourite place for students to have some gossips there along with eating. Food quality of canteen is good. It costs minimum 20 rupees per meal. Many food items like samosa, bread pakora, rolls, chow mien, chilli potato, dosa, chole bhature, cold drinks, ice creams and snacks are available in the canteen. Common room is the place in college where girls can spend their free time.
  • Computer labs are also provided in the college. Classrooms have enough space with many benches and around 40-50 students to sit there.
  • The college also maintains an adequately equipped medical room. A well-qualified physician and a nurse attend to the needs of the students in the college.
  • The college maintains a double storey library in a separate wing for the college students. It has a collection of about 71,885 books on various subjects and 85 periodicals. Wi-fi facility is also provided to the students of the college.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

  • I got enrolled for B. A in Shyama prasad Mukherjee college(for women) in 2015. It is one of the famous colleges for women. It is located in West Punjabi Bagh. The College's auditorium(Rajiv Gandhi Auditorium) is the dignity for it.
  • There are also many societies like dance society, music society, debate society and drama society which are very popular among the students.
  • Many sports like kabaddi, kho-kho, baseball, basketball, hockey are also available in the college. Canteen facility is also there. Ground and gardens of the college are so intriguing.
