Placements and Internships

Lovely Professional University focuses on building student's practical knowledge along with the theoretical knowledge thus LPU a tranning letter which allows students get training in numerous companies. Moreover, a lot of training institutes send their experts to offer training to the LPU students, especially inside the university campus. I personally did two of my internships in which one I did in Bhavani industries (TATA MOTORS) in Rudrapur and the second one in TSERC inside the campus.
Students of LPU get placed in high profile companies like cognizant which are a mass recruiter and also other companies like Honda, tech Mahindra, Hyatt, air India, Indian army and many more.
The average packages of 8 to 10 lakhs.
Alumni network of LPU is very helpful and hardworking.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

Lovely Professional University has total 12 big hostels of which 6 are for girls and 6 are for boys. These LPU Hostels have great living and studying environment to nurture students. These hostels are available at affordable cost for students.
If some students don't want to live in the hostels than they have more than 30 PGs near to LPU which also are very affordable. LPU is the India's largest university and its infrastructure enhances its beauty 100 times.
LPU have the advanced quality of classrooms, technically advanced labs, three big Libraries and fully wifi campus.
Average Wifi speed at LPU is around 700 kbps which go up to 1 Mbps.
Additionally, LPU has a mall where every single thing is available and LPU also has a hospital, skating ground, cricket ground, football ground, three volleyball ground, two gyms, a beautiful campus cafe and at least 300 food shops which provide you with a various selection of food of different states.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

Lovely Professional University offers admission in the master of technology to those who get minimum 55 % in their bachelor in technology. Additionally, students will have to clear an entrance exam opted by the university itself and score at least 40 % marks.
The students who score 70 % or above will be eligible to avail the scholarship offered by the university.

Academics and Faculty

During my 6 years student life at Lovely Professional University, I have seen that this University always made sure that class timing (summer and winter) was at the suitable time so students do not has to be frustrated for attending the classes and they are always happy with the timetable. If there is some problem with time table (rare case) than LPU academic staff was always ready to help. I personally appreciate their help.
LPU has a quality of teaching staff who works hard with students to provide them, good quality of education and teachers are always ready to help and solve the problems of students. LPU's teacher always makes sure that they have individual interaction with every single student so they can get proper basics. Teachers here are expert in their own areas and they know multiple ways to help students in their academics.
To describe my overall experience I will say it was the golden 6year span of my life which I spent at LPU and I will love and cherish it all my life.

Fees and Scholarships

My course fee of M.Tech in mechanical engineering is 34500 per semester.
Lovely Professional University offers a scholarship for students on the basis on their previous academic records and on the basis of their performance in LPU entrance exam (LPU Nest). Most of the students ( average 70 to 75 %) take benefit of scholarship offered by LPU.
If students want to get loans from the bank, in that case, LPU gives a loan letter saying this particular student has taken admission in LPU and then students will have to contact to the bank along with the different certificate required and the bank will provide the lone according to the bank's terms.

Clubs and Associations

LPU has social gatherings and clubs where students meet and share a talk and their experiece. LPU organise one india and one world every year where all the students shows their creativity. lots of film stars like SRK, akshay kumar, jacqueline and many more comes here to promote their movies and students have fun time to see their favorite star. Punjabi movies and songs are also shoot and acted at LPU. In general life at LPU is incredible and awesome. These are the wonderful moments which stays with students all their life as a beautiful memory.
