The quality of classrooms are well-furnished, have a huge library, have a 24*7 WIFI facility and love infrastructure of my Government Engineering College, [GEC] Raipur.

The scholarships are as such not available at Government Engineering College, [GEC] Raipur but only to those who get 1000 rank in Manipal entrance exam with a promise to get CGPA of above 8.5 in semesters.
Bank loans are available for convenience.

Companies for internships are available but only for CSE, many companies including amazon, Appirio, hired students on a good package, the average package goes till 12.5 lakh p.a as this was the first placement of our college.
Talumniini network is not so significant.

The hostel facility is available at Government Engineering College, [GEC] Raipur with good infrastructure.
The quality of mess food is acceptable but not so good.
The small shops called as THADI are there opened by villagers.

Our academic daily routine schedule is from 9 Am to 4 PM, faculty takes the classes regularly, projects are not given on regular basis but assignments of every topic are given at Government Engineering College, [GEC] Raipur.
I personally feel that B Tech and B Arc are the most relevant courses.
Some teachers are extremely good but some just teach for the sake of their work. professors are always available for doubt sessions.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND ADMISSION PROCESS:

Eligibility 10+2, cgpet(Chhattisgarh pre-engineering test) entrance exam and the cutoff is category wise divided for different branches

PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK:

10 lpa which is the highest. Our alumni are working in big companies like TCS, Infosys, etc.

FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP:

The course fee is INR 18000 per anum for every boys. Girls don\'t need to pay fee. The scholarship is for obc stdnt 22000 and for st/sc 320000 including hostel scholarship. I don\'t think loans are needed.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY:

College timing for a 1st-year student is 9:30 to 3:20 & for 2nd, 3rd nd 4th year is 10:30 to 5:00 o\'clock. Quality and method of teaching are very good. In our college, we have more facilities, and labs than the other colleges in CG.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND ADMISSION PROCESS:

Eligibility Criteria: Pass 10+2 examination. Secure at least 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/OBC). Entrance exams students need to appear for JEE Main (National Level Exam) & CG PET (State Level Exam) to get admission into the UG engineering programme. Cutoffs as per the CG PET Round 3 counselling 2021, the closing score of Government Engineering College, Raipur BTech in Civil Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering is 60.63 and 72,34, respectively.

PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK:

The placements for computer science are quite better than other branches. The highest salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA-12 LPA, while the average salary package offered ranges between 1 LPA-4 LPA.
