Placements and Internships
- The highest package offered to any undergraduate student at the Christ University, Bangalore in the year 2016-2017 is Rs. 17.5 lacs, offered by D.E Shaw.
- A majority of the students end up with something around 2.5-3.5 lakhs. And a lot of these are jobs that are operational in nature.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- The infrastructure is brilliant. The classes and the surroundings are always clean. There are proper and very clean sanitation facilities. There are eight canteens altogether. There are two basketball courts, football courts, and a table tennis court. There is a huge space for a parking lot.
- Overall, the University provides excellent facilities.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The Admission procedure in the Christ University, Bangalore consisted of two stages which were Entrance Examination and a Personal Interview.
- The Entrance Examination had four sections - General knowledge, basic mathematics, general English and logical reasoning. In the personal Interview session, first, we were asked to answer a value based questions and then had a direct interview.
- There is no cutoff for BBA course as the admission procedure is completed much before the 12th results are announced.
- The eligibility criteria for the course is 12th graduate of any course from any field( Commerce, Science, Arts)
Academics and Faculty
- The regular class timings in Christ University, Bangalore are 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. The whole semester is divided into three components that are CIA 1, CIA 2 and CIA 3. CIA 1 AND CIA 3 consists of projects which could be written or presentations. CIA 2 is the midterm examination. And finally is the end semester examination.
- BBA course is a three years course, with six semesters.
- The teaching method is very systematic. Th teachers are regular to classes and the syllabus is completed on time. The quality is pretty good. The classes are kept very interactive and interesting. The faculty is approachable and lenient.
Fees and Scholarships
- The fee structures in Christ University, Bangalore range from around 1 lakh to 3 lakhs. It is based on the region from which the candidate is from. The fee for a candidate residing in Bangalore is Rs.105000 only.
Clubs and Associations
- Christ University has a lot to offer other than Academics.
- There are numerous courses available for students interested in other fields like dance, music, sports, etc. There are credit courses offered too.
- There is a CSA wing which is involved in Social work in the Christ University, Bangalore.
