Placements and Internships
- I was getting stipend amount 8000 per month.
- Many companies(IT and Core) came to our campus for placement.
- The average salary like 5 - 15 LPA.
- It was a good experience.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- We had 3 Girls hostel blocks were there, The hostel condition was not that much good, some blocks were good.
- The hostel fee was 21000 per semester.
- The food was good, the cost was 40 per meal. The quality of classrooms, labs, libraries, dining halls, Wi-Fi and other key infrastructure was good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria for M.Tech admission will be 6.5 CGPA ( on 10 point scale) for OC/OB whereas 6.0 CGPA incase of SC/ST/PWD candidates in the qualifying degree.In every program, only certain combinations of eligibility degree disciplines and GATE subjects are allowed.
- I applied through GATE entrance exam.
- The typical cutoffs for my course (VLSI Design) are 710.
Academics and Faculty
- The Academic session was nice, class timings, projects, exams, and assignments were good.
- The quality and method of teaching were good but sometimes not understanding depends on the lecturer.
- The overall experience in my college was good.
Fees and Scholarships
- My course fee is 1,26,500 per year. The scholarship options for students in NIT Karnataka for M.Tech full time is stipend.
- Almost all will get scholarship eligible only for M.Tech full time course through CCMT counseling.
- They availed the loans from SBI and Canara banks because these banks located in college campus.
Clubs and Associations
- The local chapters of Indian society for technical education, the institute of Engineers, the Rotaract club, the computer society of India etc., were there in the campus.
- The two most famous annual events are Engineer (The national level technical symposium) and Incident ( the cultural event) these two events are planned, organized and managed by the students themselves.
- The college life was peaceful and nice.
