Placements and Internships

  • I did my internship at CENTRAL ODNANCE DEPOT, ARMY.
  • 116 (+) corporate selected 518 (+) HCST students in 2015 Batch
  • 58 were MNC’s and others national Front running Companies.  
  • 6 of the top 10 Indian Software companies recruited HCST students.  
  • Maxm. Package 7.20 L.P.A, 65% students got 2.9 LPA, Av. 2.5    L.P.A.   All the three wings of Indian Defence Services recruited students from HCST campuses
  • starting salaries anywhere between Rs 3.0 lakhs to Rs 6.5 lakhs, annually depending on merit.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

  • An Amenities centre is located within the campus including a cafeteria and a shopping arcade for the use of the students and Staff, providing all necessary articles and food stuffs of daily use, (on a paid basis), a juice counter, fruit mart and barbers shop etc. to meet the needs of the students.
  • The Central library of HCST was formed in 1996. Central library serves the academic needs of about 4500 students & 325 faculty & staff members. College library is fully computerized, has bar code technology with all modern facilities and resources such as CD-Rom, Online database, Journals, Audio- Video Cassettes, Dissertations / Project reports etc. Central library also has a separate computer lab with 10 computers with internet facility.

    Collection of the Central library has grown up to more than 1,19,738 books and more than 1000 bound Journals / Periodicals. The collection mainly focuses on Science & Technology. We are currently involved in utilizing the network information through access to DELNET, INTERNET, OPAC etc.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

  • 75% of the seats are filled by the University through State Entrance Examination (SEE-UPTU) & 10% through AIEEE / JEE –  Counseling depending on the rank obtained by the student at Hindustan College
  • Counseling sessions for the same are called in major cities and announced in leading Newspapers. Balanced 15%seats are filled by the colleges through Direct admissions as per UPTU guidelines .
  • 15% Seats under Management Quota are filled through the process detailed below. Admissions are strictly based on merit.
  • I took UPTU exam. It is important to pass the exam. No cutoffs as such stand.

Academics and Faculty

  • Daily timing is 10 am to 5 pm. 
  • The Student activities (Academic & Extracurricular) are taken care by Electronics Student Association (ESA) founded in 2006. The activities of ESA are monitored and coordinated by Mr. Sumeet Rana, Sr. Lecturer, ECE Department.
    The Department also boasts of having a student hobby club founded in 2009 under the guidance and mentorship of the then HOD, Prof. Ramesh Chandra, ECE Deptt. Activities carried out by the Electronics hobby club are:

    1. Workshop on latest development in Electronics  field
    2. Component Designing
    3. Seminars & Presentations
  • At Hindustan I got a wonderful platform to acquire knowledge, express myself and improve my soft skills. The state-of-the-art educational infrastructure, learned and supportive faculty and up-to-date curriculum provided me with a strong foundation to enter the corporate world. My four years stay was indeed an enriching experience that I am going to cherish for the rest of my life.

To create a healthy competition among the students for academic excellence, the college has planned merit scholarships. A student obtaining position in the first five rankings overall or first two rankings branch wise in the university semester examination is awarded merit scholarship by the Sharda Educational Trust.

In addition, the management has instituted the ‘Best Project Prize’ and ‘Second Best Project Prize’ for the final year students of each branch. This encourages the students to work on projects having some quality and scope for implementing the projects in real time. The Sharda Educational Trust offers its preset scholarships in all its Institutions.

The Institute provides 24×7 access to Wireless Internet Services throughout the campus.

The Labs are connected through wireless as well as optical fiber cabling. The Hostelers and Faculty members residing inside the campus can avail maximum advantage of this connectivity.


The HCST Network provides over 3000 connections covering all departments, hostels, administrative offices, faculty quarters, and guest houses.Students, research scholars and project staff can access the Internet through any PC connected to the Institute LAN in any Department through a wired/wireless (secured) access.An advanced online counseling system through the HCST Call Center facilitates quick response to queries, while the training division ensures that each of the colleges is updated with latest technologies and trends.

Video Conferencing: HCST have a facility of Video Conference with multi site

The Department of Physical Education & Sports provides all the facilities and infrastructure like Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Billiards, Badminton, Table Tennis, well equipped multi Gymnasium facilities, etc. to keep the students fit and inculcate sportsman spirit in the students.

The students have been representing the college at various State level, National level competitions and won 06 gold, 14 silver and 22 bronze Medals in All India Technical Sports Meet held at Modi Institute of Technology & Research , Sikar (Raj) and Inter-Collegiate Sports Meet of Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow held at B.I.E.T, Jhansi.
