Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get into Silicon Institute of Technology, the college had a specific cut-off JEE Main ranks for its every branch. But to get into its B. Tech degree we had to first appear for JEE Main exams and through its rank, we could get into this college. Among the list of all Private colleges under Jee this was one of the best you can get. My branch is Electronics and Communication Engineering which I got through my Jee rank and this branch's cut-off is around 4-6 lakhs.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get admission into SIT a student needs to maintain a good rank in jee mains. But if he/she is a citizen of Odisha then the chance of getting a seat increases. To get admission a student needs to apply through counselling.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Silicon Institute of Technology is one of the top Engineering colleges in the state, which offers professional courses for BTECH, MCA, MTECH in various streams. The college is mostly famous for its undergraduate courses in EEE, ECE, CSE, AEI, IT. The selection procedure is currently through JEE MAIN and participating in in OJEE Counselling. The eligibility criteria are same as that of OJEE Counselling. Cut-off in EEE branch is around AIR 190000 and varies every year. One thing which is unique and noticeable about this college is its strict rules and efficient administration. The teaching faculties are one of the best in the state.
