Placements and Internships
- Key companies are IT companies, the main was TCS from past 4-5 years , the average salary offered is 2.5 lakhs ...Highest going up to I guess 5 lakhs and minimum of 1.8 lakhs.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 3 hostels inside the premises of the college, two girls hostel and one boys hostel, the rent for a double room is 26000 per year and the mess fee being 30000 which is compulsory to join, the outside options are easily available not necessarily being very good though the college ones also not being a great asset,
- WiFi is provided to hostel students apart from college hours and only 4 GB data is made available to each student per semester which is not enough of course these days even after making sites such as you tube etc blocked and not allowing students to send or receive images.
- Quality of infrastructure of classrooms is fine, computer labs are very good, library is good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Admission criteria was based on the scores of JEE and also students git admitted via institution level counselling, you need atleast 10000 all India rank in JEE
Academics and Faculty
- Classes are held in 7 periods 50 minutes each, the college hours being 10 am to 4:30 pm , lunch break being at 1:20 pm for first year.
- Quality is fine . But then the faculties are not very high level they are average
- . The overall experience is good , what compensates everything is a good pleasant environment and atmosphere.
Fees and Scholarships
- The annual fee is 75000, the scholarship are available for the caste reserved people.
- The easiest option for loan here is from Oriental Bank of commerce and state Bank of India.
Clubs and Associations
- Tech fest is the main cultural as well as technical event organised in the campus apart from the celebration of festivals individually by the hostels except for durga puja and ganesh chaturthi which is celebrated with much enthusiasm by all students together staying at the hostel.
- The life in college is okay in general, can't say very good neither very bad.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee in OIET is Rs. 78000 per annum. The scholarship options are available to only minority class students.
Academics & Faculty : College timings are 9:00 AM to5 PM. Exams are as usually are after every 5-6 months of new semester. Assignments are given according to daily basis of work done in the college. Quality of education is good and teachers are very supportive and helpful. Assignments are given once or twice in a week. Not much pressure is given to students. The overall experience is good. There is a lot of scope for personality development.
