Placements and Internships
- There are no such big companies visiting Dr DY Patil College of Engineering . Bunch of small or new companies visit here.
- Average salary is around 2-2.5 lakhs/pa. Around 40% students of BE get placement here. Most of the companies visit here for hiring students from CSE/IT Batches
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Single hostel for Boys and girls separately. Hostels are small with strength of around 380 for Boys and 700 for girls. Hostel fees is around 3300 per month excluding mess service. Meal provided is excellent. A regular Rice plate would cost you ₹60. There are many varieties of food provided here.
- Classrooms are digitally equipped. Labs are sufficiently good. Library can improved. Dining area is excellent.The campus does not provide you WiFi Services.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Eligibility criteria: MHTCET/JEE MAIN marks+ 60% marks in PCM in 10+2 exams I took admission on my JEE Main marks 105-110/200 in MHTCET and 120/360 in JEE MAIN for CSE/IT
Academics and Faculty
- 5 hours of lectures+ 3 hours of practical work on daily routine basis.
- There are regular exams at the end of every month. Assignments are given daily.
- Quality and Methods of teaching is good but can be improved in near future. My experience studying here is at par. Teaching faculty is not so good.
Fees and Scholarships
- Fees:in the Dr DY Patil College of Engineering 80,000 INR/pa approximately
- There are few scholarship options available here, especially for Maharashtra candidates. 10-15% of students get scholarship here, majority of those are Maharashtra Candidates.
- I personally don't think loan is needed. But if you want you can get it easily from the banks connected within tha college authorities
Clubs and Associations
- There are many societies for different branches created by student.
- Here occurs a month of cultural, sports, technical fest's every year in the month of February. Life within the campus is quite peaceful and enjoyable with your friends.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : First, you need to give CET exam if you are not from Maharashtra then JEE MAIN Exam marks will consider. Cutoffs for mechanical and computer science branch are higher than other branches.
