Placements and Internships
- There are No internships yet because my second year just started but the college itself provides internships in various courses like android, netbeams etc.
- The various companies in the IT sectors such as Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart visit in our university for Campus placements.
- The highest package up for grabs in our university till now is 23 lakhs.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are many hostels with many floors and room hostels are ok. The University would have to construct a lift as there are many floors.
- Inside campus all the stationary and food items are available.
- The quality of the class is ok hostel charge is 70000 per annum. The Wifi is brilliant, libraries are good and the Chandigarh University campus is filled with greenery.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The Eligibility criteria are just 60% and above.
- There are no major entrance tests but scholarship are given to those students whose +2 score is more than 80 percent and there is more than 1500 student in our course as eligibility is low so most of the low percentage student is here.
Academics and Faculty
- The Classes starts from morning 9 am to evening 4 pm.
- The Teachers are mostly young so they don't have much experience .some are good even though but i still feel some experience should be there.
- There is no talking of innovative ideas and syllabus are not much competitive still the student who are interesting in knowing more special faculty members are provided.
Fees and Scholarships
- Well for the students who have a rank below 80, the scholarships are Rs.59000 and for more than 80 is 10 percent off of 59000 and even for 90 is 20 percent off for them out of 1500 students 600 are the one having a scholarship so you can day 40 percent with the scholarship.
- Yes, loans are provided by the Chandigarh University too as well as an extension are given too.
Clubs and Associations
- Our university has student not only from India but from major parts of the world, specially from Africa and its good to meet new people sharing cultures.
- All the events take place as mentioned above mentioning sports consist of cricket, soccer and even American football.
- Life is good in Chandigarh University.
