  • There are some very strong alumni network who are spread throughout the world.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

  • There are 21 hostels in IIT Chennai, with lots of facilities like TV room, computers, music instruments, library, sports like TT, basketball, badminton, etc. in each hostel and the Fees is about 6000 pm Everyone stays in the hostel.
  • The Quality of food is average, rest all facilities are of good quality

Entrance Exams and Admissions

  • The Eligibility criteria for IIT Chennai are to clear 12th education
  • Candidates will have to attempt JEE Mains followed by JEE Advanced.
  • The Cutoff is getting an AIR 600 in JEE Advanced

  • The Timings in IIT Chennai are from 8 to 6 with free slots in between Method of teaching.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for joining Indian Institute of Technology is clearing the JEE ADVANCED exam. For giving JEE ADVANCED exam the candidate has to clear the JEE MAIN with good marks. The cut-off for the course is 2000 AIR for Electrical engineering course.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for joining Indian Institute of Technology is clearing the JEE MAIN exam or JEE ADVANCED exam. I took JEE MAIN exam to get admission. The cut-off for a general is above 100 marks and for SC it is 52 marks.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get into IIT Madras one needs to write JEE Main and then JEE Advance. Typically anyone with rank in the range of 61 to 1363 can get into Electrical Engineering B.Tech or Dual Degree.
