- There are many companies that hire from College of Engineering and Technology, [CET] Bhubaneswar, they are Maruti Suzuki, Asian paints, TCS, Jindal steel, Tata steel, Wipro Infosys, Hindal Co, Robert Bosch now floats, mu-sigma, Accenture, etc.
- Average salary ranges from Rs.3,60,000/- to Rs. 18,00,000/- per year. The percentage of batches getting placed every year ranges from 76.4% - 96%.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 3 hostels in College of Engineering and Technology, [CET] Bhubaneswar 2 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel. Among 2 boys hostels, 1 is inside the campus and another outside. hostel fees are Rs. 10000/- (per semester). Hostels are good enough.
- The CET canteen food is very good and the cost per meal is Rs.30/-.
- Classrooms are big and spacious, Well ventilated. Libraries are also good and the WiFi facility is available 24 hrs highly secured. Hostels are also having WiFi facilities.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria in College of Engineering and Technology, [CET] Bhubaneswar was based on the JEE main ranks. Under OJEE (Odisha joint entrance) application was filed for the admission to the course by me. Many colleges are listed under OJEE and I gave my choices according to my priority after giving the details of mine which included my rank Then after verification of my documents according to my rank the respective branch was allowed to me.

Academics and Faculty
- The timings in College of Engineering and Technology, [CET] Bhubaneswar is 9:30 am - 4:30 pm. Exams like internals are conducted by the college and the semester exams are conducted by the university in the college.
- The quality of teaching by some faculties is nice but not by some, Method of teaching Is not that much good.
- Till now my experience in the CET is nice.
Fees and Scholarships
- My course fee in College of Engineering and Technology, [CET] Bhubaneswar is Rs. 37,400/- per year.
- CET Merit scholarship of value Rs. 400/- per month. The scholarship for 1st year B Tech /B Arch/ MCA is awarded to the students basing on their JEE rank in general category. For 2nd year onwards the scholarship is given branch wise basing on their CGPA in the previous yr examination.
- the scholarships are awarded to 10% of the students of each class.
- If any student needs a loan for their course it is provided by syndicate bank.
Clubs and Associations
- There is a student association in College of Engineering and Technology, [CET] Bhubaneswar and there are many clubs like ASME chapter ( American society for mechanical engineers), Energy club, Apectrum, Zairza ( robotic club), SAE, arpeggio ( singing), Amusa ( drama club), TDA(dance club), NSS etc.
- Festivals that are being conducted are like Ascend (our tech fest), Perception( Techno-Literary- Management fest), Xtasy (our cultural fest).
- Life in college is attending classes and chilling out with friends.
