Placements and Internships
- I haven't done any internship because I am still studying.
- I don't have a job either do I have any alumni network in College of Engineering and Technology, [CET] Bhubaneswar.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are three hostels for boys and two for girls in College of Engineering and Technology, [CET] Bhubaneswar. The hostel fees cost near to 20,000/- per half year.
- The outer campus PGs or residences are not that easy to get and also are very hectic in a way that it costs a lot amount the service doesn't match it up. That cost up to 8k per month.
- Food in CET doesn't stand well. Apart from the tastes, there are the ingredients that are used which cause problems for children.
- Infrastructure is quite good and the library is helpful. Wifi is amazingly helpful and class rooms are spacious, but the classrooms do not stand good. They are not upto the mark and the benches and tables are not of good quality.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- I Joined College of Engineering and Technology, [CET] Bhubaneswar on the basis of the marks obtained in the JEE mains examination.
- I appeared for the entrance examinations like BITSAT, JEE advanced and many other exams. On the basis of the marks grabbed and the rank secured by me made enrolled myself into the CET.
Academics and Faculty
- The classes in CET run from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. excluding the other available sources such as AUTOCAD which adds 3 more hours. The course has 8 semesters and each semester has 2 mid-semester exams. Each semester has its own marks which count also the assignments and other tests in the class hours.
- The teaching level is not impressive! the classes at regular and the teachers are not that serious about the course and the syllabus.The college still obeys the teacher-oriented learning which I think is an advantage.
- Overall the College of Engineering and Technology, [CET] Bhubaneswar experience is quite satisfactory.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fees including the bus fees in College of Engineering and Technology, [CET] Bhubaneswar are about Rs 37,400/- per year.
- The scholarship options are available to people who are financially poor.
- Loans are not needed for my course.
Clubs and Associations
- The clubs are awesome in College of Engineering and Technology, [CET] Bhubaneswar they threw a lot of opportunities for people of each branch. People do encourage in pursuing their passion and help in growing.
- Cultural fests are a big highlight of the college. it is named as stay and happens in a great zeal among all the children, participants and other authorised people. The seniors aren't that supportive that's the reason why we have a specific code of dress that is allowed. Even the support and motivation from the upper hand is lacking.
- The general life in CET is ok.
