Placements and Internships
- I as presently in my third year, so I haven't done any internships till now, but planning to do an internship with ISRO.
- Companies like TCS, Infosys, amazon, Tech Mahindra etc are the major recruiters.
- The average salary is 3.25 per annum.Maximum of 12.5 lakhs and more.
- Nearly 75% talented people and more get placed.It is one of the highest placement colleges in Hyderabad.
- The CVRCE's alumni network works very efficiently.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Hostels for boys are within the campus and for girls, it's outside the campus.The fee is around 50000.There are many privates around the college, costs around 3500 per month (per month).
- Good and Hygienic food is provided in CVCRE, it costs around 35 per meal.
- Highly efficient labs are available in our college. I think most of the money are spend on labs.Nearly 3 to 4 crores are spent on labs of our mechanical department. The library is provided all the necessary books and is open to all the students, all day long.Students corner is provided with a high-speed wifi connection.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The main Eligibility criteria for joining CVRCE is based on your EAMCET rank.Even jee mains score can be taken into consideration.
- I have attempted EAMCET and scored a good score and was able to get into a good college like CVRCE.
- At present, the cutoff for my course is getting an EAMCET rank below 8360.
Academics and Faculty
- The CVRCE College starts at 9 and ends at 4 'o clock. Projects are taken as development for individuals and management supports a lot.Exams are based on a pre prepared schedule.Assignments are also rendered equal importance in academics and are given some marks.
- One cannot find such a dedicated, talented faculty anywhere in Hyderabad, the education is made easy and simple. If I have joined any other college, I wouldn't have developed myself in the present situation I am in
Fees and Scholarships
- My course fee is around 62,700.But from my juniors is has become 91000.
- Scholarships for reservation candidates is available (given by government) and people getting a rank below 10000 are given a scholarship based on merit.
- Average of 500 and few more get scholarship.
- If the students are unable to pay the fees, they can request the management.And management inquiries about the situation and decreases the fee, if the cases demand.All banks provide CVRCE students with loans (as in a student loan).
Clubs and Associations
- Each and ever department is having their own students association.There are also many other clubs for dance, singing, etc.The literary club takes care of all the cultures

- The Annual day, technical fest Ciencia. a traditions-day with a 5k run are the major events.There are much more minor events.
- Life in CVCRE is a real life experience feeling

Fees & Scholarships : Fees of Maharaj Vijayaram Gajapathi Raj College of Engineering is 96000. A fee reimbursement of 35000 is availale for obc and other castes. For SC/ST full fee is reimbursed. Yes, it becomes burden to pay 96000 at a time for students who come from poor background. They can avail loans from any of the state banks.
