Placements and Internships
- If you have skills then it's the right college for you. You can be placed easily in lots of major companies as lots of company comes to campus especially for CSE and IT Department.
- The Average Salary Package is a bit on the lower side, about 2.5 - 3.5 Lacs.
But considering the current market conditions and competition, it's acceptable.
I also got placed in two Mechanical companies myself from Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology, [PIET] Panipat.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- The Infrastructure is pretty good at Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology, [PIET] Panipat.
All the blocks are fully air conditioned.
Almost all classes have projectors and library has more than enough books that will you need for your course. - The Hostel fee ranges up to 65k for non-AC and 75k for AC rooms.
- The Mess fees is included in this.
- Wifi is provided for laptops only. You can use wifi on your phones.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- I got admitted at Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology, [PIET] Panipat through the JEE Mains.
But you can easily apply for a college directly if you have above 70% in 12th and you will have to give a college entrance test which is quite easy as well.
Academics and Faculty
- The Overall academic support is pretty good at Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology, [PIET] Panipat.
- About 30-40% teachers are PhD holders and the rest are M.Tech holders.
- The Daily Routine at PIET, Panipat starts with the classes starting from 9 am - 4:20 pm.
Fees and Scholarships
- The Course fee for my course is about 1 lacs per annum for B.Tech. It's the same for most private colleges under Kurukshetra University.
- Scholarships: Individuals with scores above 85% receives a 10% deduction on fee and the candidates with scores above 90% receive a deduction of 25% on fee.
The scores for scholarship in Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology, [PIET] Panipat will be based on your 12th scores.
Clubs and Associations
- The College life in PIET is just average. It's more of a jail. Trust me, it's for your own good.
- But u can do occasional bunks and try not get caught by teachers.
- PIET, Panipat has many societies for different branches. Maestros and freshers and PIET Quest are the main events which happen each year.
The College life is average and don't expect it to be like government colleges.

Academics & Faculty : The college timing is good for us. we are also given projects and assignment by the teachers. The method of teaching by teacher is also good so we can understand and learn. My college life is very good.
