Placements and Internships
- There is only few internship opportunity for the students at Sinhgad Academy of Engineering.
- Sinhgad Institutes have a centralized placement cell that coordinates on-campus placements.
- The students are trained in a second and third year of their engineering on various topics through modules, collectively known as, Student Training Program(STP).
- Different placement supportive evaluation exams are conducted like AMCAT(national level exam), QALR(quantitative aptitude & logical reasoning) and so forth, round the year.
- Mass Recruiters like Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc recruit each year in large numbers. Placement percentage for Electronics, IT, Comp. Engg is above 70% for last 3-4 years.
- You can get a job easily provided, you keep your scores above average.
- The average salary is around Rs. 3.5 Lakh PA. The highest package this year was Rs. 8.8 Lakh PA gave to two students.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Sinhgad Academy of Engineering campus is quite big (15 acres).
- We have 3 canteens, 1 mess, and 2 cafeterias.
- The food is quite costly at some places.
- There is a wifi facility available on the campus.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Generally, at Sinhgad Academy of Engineering seats are allocated through CAP allotment done by DTE. If you are from Maharashtra then MHT CET can get you through. I got my admission in 2014 through national level seats (yes, there are seats that are filled on a national level) but you need to get good AIR in JEE MAIN.
- Above 150 in MHT CET should get you an admit. On JEE MAIN side, try to be in top 1,50,000 students merit list.
- In 2014 cutoff was above 100 marks in JEE MAIN.
Academics and Faculty
- The class timings at Sinhgad Academy of Engineering are from 7:45 am to 4:15 pm.
- There is a placement opportunity for the students.
- Overall teaching experience is good.
Fees and Scholarships
- This year my course fee at Sinhgad Academy of Engineering is around Rs. 97,000/- per annum, for open category students. For students belonging to OBC, it is Rs. 55,000/- pa.
- The scholarship is as per the government regulations. OBC students get Rs. 3,000 annual scholarship credited to their account directly.
- Try to get you admit under government's seat allocation for TFWS (Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme).
Clubs and Associations
- I myself a member of Robotics Club, Entrepreneurship development Cell, TBI, etc at Sinhgad Academy of Engineering.
- There are department wise clubs like ETSA, MESA, CESA etc plenty of options if you want to get into management.
- SINHGAD KARANDAK is the festival celebrated on the campus.
- There are different seminars and competitions take place on the campus.
- Life in college is good.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : 10+2 exam in science and maths was the criteria to get enrolled in BE Course. JEE MAIN was the exam given by me. I scored 64 in the exam and all India cutoff was 100 but for this college and for particular my branch the score was 60.

Placements & Internships : Nice. Many companies available average salary is INR 12000 to INR 50000.its is the best option.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : A student has to pass his/her 12th Board exam. One also has to write JEE MAIN entrance exam to get the admission.
