Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility for this Government Medical College of Akola is decided through NEET entrance exam. A candidate must have passed intermediate(10+2) in science stream with biology as a subject. Age of candidate should be more than 16 years. A b.sc graduate in biology can also apply. Entrance exam has three subjects biology, chemistry, physics so focus must be on them. Cutoff varies for different categories. A general candidate can expect cutoff around 75-80%. Selection and admission are through merit list depending upon candidate's performance in the exam.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for MBBS admissions in our college was to have physics, chemistry and biology as a compulsorily opted subject for eligibility of NEET entrance.  The entrance examination we gave was NEET. The typical cutoff for me being an open candidate was 50% or above.
