Placements and Internships
- Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology is a very prestigious college and have a very good placement record.
- All the big companies like Adobe, Oracle, Samsung, Cisco, Arista Networks, UHG, Fidelity, Citi-Corp, Direct-i, Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal and more come to visit our campus for placements and Internship role.
- I got an internship in UHG with stipend Rs. 35000 per month with 15 days allocation and transportation expenses.
- The average annual package for IT is Rs. 12 Lakh pa and for CSE branch is Rs. 13 Lakh pa.
- Highest package for this year in IT is Rs. 30 Lakh pa and in CSE Rs. 45 Lakh pa.
- Alumni Network is so great in our college. Every year there is an alumni meat. We get to learn a lot from our alumni.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad established in 1961 almost 55 years old institution. So infrastructure is not so good but some of the buildings are revolted.
- There is 8 boys hostels 6-UG and 2-PG and 1 Girls hostel.
- Hostel fee is almost negligible its only Rs. 13,000 per year.
- Food quality is not so good in a mess but there are so many good canteens in hostel area, some of them are night canteens.
- Since MNNIT is situated outside to main Allahabad city on the bank of river Ganga, so PGs outside the college are not so much expensive.
- All Classrooms are well equipped with AC projectors and Labs are so good.
- One of the greatest thing in MNNIT its Internet connectivity. It has 100Mbps LAN (one of the best internet connectivity in INDIA) in every room of hostel except first year's boy's hostel they have Wi-Fi.
- It has Volleyball ground, atheletics ground, lawn tennis ground, cricket ground, basketball ground, skating ground, football ground and etc.
- It has Student Activity Centre where you can play indoor games and music and all.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Eligibility Criteria for getting admission in Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology is having at least 75% in 12th in Mathematics Field.
- The students have to clear the JEE MAIN exam to get admission in this college.
- The cut-off for IT branch is the students should have JEE MAIN rank should be less than 8000.
Academics and Faculty
- There are so many professors at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology who have a degree from any IIT or NIT or some foreign institute. But not all of them so great. But you will find so many professors who have a great knowledge.
- There are 3-4 labs (each lab 3 hours in a week) in every semester and a hell of the assignments. There are two exams in one semester one mid-semester and another end semester.
- The main academic project will start in 6th semester.
- If you want a decent job in MNC or you want to study in a very prestigious college like NIT/ IIT is a very good place for you.
- MNNIT is one of the top 5 NITs in INDIA, in fact, it is better than many of the new IITs.
Fees and Scholarships
- Since Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology is an institute of national importance and it is under Central Government the fees are not so expensive.
- For b.tech it is Rs. 83,000 per year college fees + Rs. 26,000 mess fees per year.
- For every top 5 students in a batch there is a procedure for scholarship and also so many companies provide us a various opportunity for scholarship.
- In our college, there are two banks SBI and Vijaya Bank(official) you can very easily get a loan from any of the banks very easily, just on the basis of your Allotment letter. Even I have taken a loan from SBI.
Clubs and Associations
- There are so many student societies for various cultural, technical, and sports activity at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology.
- Culrav is our college's Cultural fest and believes me it is a huge event. One of the biggest in north INDIA. Bollywood Celebrities and great social personalities come to our college and so many colleges participate in various events.
- Avishkar is our techno-management fest.
- Athletics meets and various Inter NIT tournaments are held on the campus.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I qualified to JEE MAIN exam with rank AIR 4685. The cutoff for qualifying exam is 81 for general category. My branch closing rank is around 6500.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission procedure in MNNIT is similar to any other Government Institute in India i.e. via JEE MAIN. The cutoff for my branch was 210 in JEE MAIN for General category. All 12th pass candidates are eligible to appear in the exam.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for joining Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology is passing the 12th with 75% and clearing the JEE MAIN and JEE ADVANCE exam with 360 marks for NIT and IIT. My course is information technology for that my rank should be less than 900.
