- Internships are usually offered after the completion of the third year at Indian Institute of Technology.

- There are 13 hostels present at Indian Institute of Technology out of which 5 are solely for the UG students.
- The hostels have sufficient capacity and since it is a residential campus all students are required to stay on the campus.
- The quality of food is passable, of course, it will not be very good. The cost of the meal is Rs. 50.
