Placements and Internships
- PES Institute of Technology has associated itself with various abroad universities hence the research and internship opportunities are also more in number.
- The universities also offer placements for the final year students, which is also the USP for the university's reputation.
- The job offers vary from tier 1 which offers Rs. 9 lakhs pa and above, for tier 2 it is from Rs. 4 lakhs to 9lakhs pa and for tier 3 it is more than 4 lakhs pa.
- The placement rate for CSE and ISE branches is higher compared to other branches.
- Average salary figure lies somewhere around Rs. 4 lakhs pa.
- The highest salary offered may vary from Rs. 18 lakhs to Rs. 27 lakhs pa.
- Almost 90% of the batch gets placed on an average per year.
- The university also has a very strong alumni network spread across the globe mainly concentrated in American and European continents.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls at PES Institute of Technology.
- The boy's hostel is located inside the campus whereas hostel for girls is spread in a couple of different locations within 3kms away from the campus and transportation facility is provided to the students.
- The hostel fee for boys is higher it starts from Rs. 1 lakh pa.
- The best part about the food on campus is the students can avail themselves with both vegetarian and nonvegetarian food.
- The college has two official canteens, a lot of cafes and small shops on the campus.
- The average meal costs Rs. 70/- to 100/-.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria for getting admission into PES University, formerly known as PESIT is that you have to pass the 12th board exam with a minimum of 60% in the stream of PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
- The students have to clear the PESSAT exam to get admission in this college.
- On the basis of merit, one is given priority to get admission in this university.
- Cutoff's for CSE, ISE are relatively lower compared to electronics, electrical, mechanical and civil engineering streams.
Academics and Faculty
- The college timings at PES Institute of Technology are from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm including a breakfast break and a lunch break.
- The quality of teaching varies from a moderate to a very high level. The most of our faculty who teach here are Ph.D.'s and M.Sc's in their respective streams one can expect a quality learning at PES.
- The overall life experience at PES is excellent.

- PES Institute of Technology has various clubs like Samarpana, CSR CLUB, Debsac( a debate club), dance teams, HAYA(racing club), AEOLOUS(aero club), NAUTANKI(dramatics club) which have also brought laurels to the university at state and national level competitions.
- AATMATRISHA is the main techno-cultural fest of the college.
- PRAKALPA is the annual tech fest of the college.
- INFINI is the international annual sports meet that happens on the campus every year.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The PESIT BANGALORE SOUTH CAMPUS located in bangalore is one among top ranked engineering colleges in Karnataka.The admissions for bachelors degree courses are based on the cutoffs scored in enterance exams like KCET and COMED-K.My admission was based on my KCET score.Students from Karnataka state are eligible wit their cutoff of KCET ranks whereas students from other states need to have a good score in COMED-K to get a seat.Management seats are also available.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I was admitted to PESIT through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test College Allotment process. My KCET rank was eligible for admission in PESIT. The exam is a fairly easy one, since the syllabus is primarily the 12th grade CBSE Science stream portions. Requires a fair bit of practice on a regular basis. The typical cut-off for my course i terms of the required rank is around 6000 for the general category.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : IMS Unison University, [IUU] Dehradun Management Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 1,15,000 per year. To join this prestigious college, there is an eligibility criteria that all students, after passing 12th has to go through. A student must have 70% on their 12th boards. So to get into this college all students must go through an entrance exam called COMEDK which is basically for non-banglorian students staying outside karnataka and for Karnataka local students they have to write KCET. Students can also join through Management KOTA where the fee structure is 4-5 lacs per annum. For every department in our college the cutoff varies. Lets say a student wants to pursue Computer science which is the top branch then he/she must posses 75% on their 12th boards. So for my course i.e Information Science the cutoff is around 70%.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : CET which is for Localites. COMEDK which is also for non - localites. MANAGEMENT QUOTA from which anyone can take the admission provided he/she has secured over 60% marks in Physics, CHEMISTRY and MATHS in 10th and 12th board exams. For every branch there is a cut-off to clear in CET and COMEDK so according to your rank you will be assigned the branch. I got my admission through Management.
