The class timing at University School of Information and Communication Technology is from 9 am - 5 pm from Monday to Friday.
Every year you have two semesters and in each semester you have 1 minor (overall 25 marks) and 1 major(overall 75 marks) theory exams and only 1 practical exam at end semester for each subject.
Most of the faculty is good and they are helpful to the students.

In the year 2015, the course fee at University School of Information and Communication Technology is Rs. 54,000 per year for day scholars and around Rs. 80,000 for hostelers and this is the best fee structure for any Btech College.
The scholarship is awarded to the topper of every stream after the graduation.
If you need a loan you can get it from the Indian Bank present in the college branch at a very low interest.

The rates of the canteen are minimal and one can find every type of meal he/she wants.
The quality of classes rooms is good.
There are labs for every subject and also there are some labs with open Wi-Fi installed.
There is a centralized Library for students (fully AC, open Wi-Fi, ethernet ports, a computer lab at first floor).
Also, there are five blocks (A-E) and out of these five blocks (C, D, and E), the block has a large auditorium.
Books are available at a time of semester start and the general book is available throughout the year.
The college has 2 badminton courts, tennis court, basketball/volleyball court, a cricket ground.
You can also find Indian Bank branch inside the campus, and ATM nearby.
Amul, Nescafe, and general stores can be found inside the campus.

Also, you have seniors students team to help you in academics.

University School of Information and Communication Technology is the main campus school/college of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University(GGSIPU).
To be eligible for this college you have to give entrance exam known has IPU CET. You can register for this test at an online portal in the month of April-May. The test is only Pen & Paper based and you have to go to your allotted center to give it. As this is a state university your center will be only in Delhi region.
Talking about cutoffs for CSE it goes up to 9000 in 2015 (this result contains General, SC/ST, Handicapped, OBC ) for ECE up to 11000 and for IT, it is around 14000.

SOCIAL ATMOSPHERE: college crowd is the best coz most of the people are from delhi itself.alcohal is not allowed in the campus.

INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION: The campus is a huge one with lots of open areas, refreshing gardens and sports facilities underway. The hostels are also in the pipeline and will be opened to the students by this academic year. However, there is a lack of proper parking space and the students are required to park their cars under the hot sun which turns their cars into furnaces during the summers. The library is common to all departments; it’s a two storey structure with enough space which, however, hasn’t been utilised appropriately and there are few places to sit and read books. There is wired internet connectivity in all the classrooms and labs and a fully Wi-Fi campus has been promised in the near future. All in all there has been an overall improvement in the infrastructure as compared to the old campus, but it does feel like you're in a university.

SOCIAL ATMOSPHERE: The overall atmosphere in the campus is very lively with beautiful girls hanging around with not-so-beautiful guys and the more handsome guys lingering around single (that’s the scenario everywhere, wonder what these girls are up to!) Talking about USIT in particular, the girls complain of the guys being slightly mean and unsophisticated, but when it’s mass bunk or submission time or everyone gets along pretty well. Most of the students are Delhi-ites leaving aside a few exceptions from here and there.
