Placements and Internships
- In my campus, for mechanical engineering course some automobile companies, construction companies, manufacturing companies, production companies and also IT companies come for recruitment at National Institute of Technology.
- All these automobile, manufacturing and production sector gives the best package for the students.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Infrastructure is much good at National Institute of Technology. There is greenery inside the campus.
- Hostels are separate for 2nd and 4th-year bachelor's and some construction are also going on.
- In coming years this institute will have a very large and good hostel.
- We get our food inside hostel in the mess, sometimes quality is good sometimes not.
- There is also a sports complex in our campus having an investment of about 100 crores.
- We have central library having 70,000 complied books but now it's not open to all.
- Classrooms and lab are good enough.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria for joining National Institute of Technology is clearing the JEE MAIN exam or passing the 12th.
Academics and Faculty
- Mechanical engineering is best and strict branch in National Institute of Technology, so it's very though schedule.
- This NIT is located in a northeastern part of India so no good professors are available but available professors are doing their best for us.
- Overall collage is good and much enjoyable.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee at National Institute of Technology is Rs. 1,50,000 per year including institute and hostel fee.
- There is no facility to get a loan from the bank in this institute and it's very hard to get loan outside and the loan is very much needed for a student having less family income.
- There is no scholarship facility available for the students.
Clubs and Associations
- There is a good environment for self-skill development, many student clubs are there, some are cultural and some are technical, like robotics, tech addicts, D4U and many others at National Institute of Technology.
- Too many cultural fests are organized by us like dandiya nights, Saraswati puja, Ganesha puja & some local traditional fest.
- Our techno-cultural fest called ADVAITA is going to be held in the 2nd week of Feb.
- Life is too much enjoyable on the campus.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : This is an institute of national importance whose admission comes under CSBA through JOSAA counseling. Students have to appear for JEE MAIN exam which will be held in the first two weeks of April every year. The eligibility criteria are clearly mentioned in the provided rules of JEE MAIN. The cut-offs vary every year based on the question paper. Generally, Out of 360 marks about 100 marks is the cutoff for General category students and between 60-80 for OBC and SC/ST students.
