Placements and Internships
- I didn't get any opportunity till now for any internships and do not get any stipend being a general category candidate.
- A lot of companies do come every year for placement at Vinoba Bhave University like TCS, WIPRO, IBM, Vedanta, tata steel etc.
- The average salary package is Rs. 3.2 lakhs pa.
- 60% of students get placed.
- Vinoba Bhave University has a very extensive alumni network.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Around 25-30 hostels for boys and around 10 for girls in total at Vinoba Bhave University.
- The hostel fee is very less around Rs. 3,000 per year including electricity charges.
- The classes are not highly technically advanced.
- The wifi facility is not there.
- The quality of teaching is good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Currently, I am in third-year mechanical engineering student of VBU Hazaribagh. Vinoba Bhave University is one of the best engineering colleges of Jharkhand.
- I secured a CML rank of 393 in JCECE to get admission in Vinoba Bhave University.
- Those who secured ranks under 400 under general category got mechanical.
Academics and Faculty
- The class timings at Vinoba Bhave University are from 7 am in summer and ends around 1 pm to 4 pm.
- The quality and method of teaching are good and appreciable.
- Overall experience in college is good.
Fees and Scholarships
- Rs. 20,000 is the course fee per year at Vinoba Bhave University.
- The scholarships are available for meritorious and financially very weak students only.
- The loans are generally not needed but can be availed if needed.
Clubs and Associations
- A lot of clubs and student union do exist in Vinoba Bhave University like art club, painting wing, a literary society, Sae India, Prayaas India, IETE, GRS club, model club, Leo club etc.
- The main Festival on campus last year was a mega Socio-cultural event Bitaansh which had a huge success.
- The college life is good.

Fees & Scholarships : course fee in 2015 was 12k and scholarships options are available and almost all the students get scholarships from 2011 to 2015 batch there are approximately 400 students in 2015

Entrance Exams & Admissions : All 12th pass out students with PCM as the main subject are eligible for it. Students have to qualify Jharkhand combined (JCECE)exam, which is usually held in the month of may. the typical cutoff for my course is 45 marks out of 150.
