Placements and Internships
- Internships have been a part fo our curriculum at Acharya's Bangalore Business School. PGDM has a 4-month internship program in the last semester.
- Companies like Amazon, KPMG, Nestle, ICICI, Tata, Myntra, Cafe Coffee Day, Infosys, Wipro etc visit campus for placements.
- The average salary is around Rs. 4.7 Lakh pa.
- Highest salary was around Rs. 9 Lakh pa.
- Alumni meet is conducted once in a year, and sometimes twice or thrice.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- 3 hostels are there at Acharya's Bangalore Business School. 2 boys and 1 girls.
- For a year the hostel fee cost around Rs. 90,000.
- There is many PGs are available outside the college.
- The quality of food is good.
- The infrastructure is good at Acharya's Bangalore Business School.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Eligibility criteria to join Acharya's Bangalore Business School is passing the 12th with 50%. But they prefer students with more than 60%.
- MAT is the required examination to get admission in Acharya's Bangalore Business School.
- The students can also take CAT or KMAT.
- I am not sure about cut off percent but it is more than 70%.
Academics and Faculty
- The academic schedule is hectic at Acharya's Bangalore Business School.
- ICT is used for teaching, and quality is good, sometimes we get IIMs, IITs professors for teaching us, and industry personnel giving us first-hand information on the current market trends.
- Overall experience is good.
Fees and Scholarships
- PGDM Course fee at Acharya's Bangalore Business School is Rs. 8 Lakh for 2 years.
- The course fee for PGDM BIFAS is about Rs. 7.2 Lakh pa and course fee for PGDM Regular is about Rs. 6.1 Lakh pa.
- Scholarships are available for deserving candidates based on merit. There are several scholarships that one can avail.
- An average number of students who get scholarships are 15%.
- Loans are not an issue, you can get it from Axis Bank, PNB, Standard Chartered, HDFC etc.
Clubs and Associations
- There are several clubs like film club, music club, biotech, marketing, Toastmasters etc at Acharya's Bangalore Business School which help in the overall development of the students.
- Bizomania is the management fest which is good.
- There is a sports meet held on campus every year.
- The life in college is good.
