Placements and Internships

  • Internship Opportunities are very less at Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering the students have to search on their own effort.
  • Placement opportunities are open to computer science branch and information technology branch otherwise if you are opting for core branches and want to placed in any of the core background based companies then opportunities are very less. 

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

  • There are totally 2 hostels present in Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering.
  • Vivekananda hostel is a boys hostel and there is one girl's hostel also.
  • Hostel fee is around Rs. 70,000 per month and you get very inferior quality food which is not preferable at such high amount which you are paying for hostel fees.
  • PG's are not available, however, you have a good opportunity to search for rented flats around as many societies are present around.
  • Food in the canteen is good, and price per meal is a value for money.
  • Wifi facility is good that too after the availability of Jio.
  • The library is good, Classrooms are quite dirty and is not cleaned regularly.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

  • The eligibility criteria to join Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering is passing the 10th, 12th and you are supposed to have 60% of marks.
  • The cut-off for the course is 75 in JEE MAIN.

Academics and Faculty

  • There are exams conducted for the students in every Sem at Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering.
  • Quality and methodology of teaching are very bad. Teachers are very ignorant and lazy.
  • The overall experience of the college is not so good.

  • Only the students who belong to Maharashtra are eligible for scholarship and they have to fall in some category or they have to get a very high score in CET examination to fall under tuition fee waiver scheme.
  • Loans are only needed according to the financial status of your family.
  • The loans from the banks can be easily availed.

 

Clubs and Associations

  • There are student societies which nobody knows who are the members and there is no craze for joining such societies at Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering.
  • The main festival of this college is 'YASH' which happens in the month of February.
  • The college life, in general, is cool, relaxed.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admissions of YCCE Nagpur are offered at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. are the courses offered by the institute. Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology are the various disciplines of engineering offered by the institute. YCCE Nagpur admissions to B.Tech courses are offered through CAP rounds as per the guidelines published by CET Cell, Govt. of Maharashtra on the basis of JEE Main or MH-CET score.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : There is no mandatory entrance exam. The cut off for my course is 80% or above marks in 12th.
