Placements and Internships
- I got an internship in a start-up company and got the stipend of Rs. 10,000 pm.
- While some of the students get high packages of Rs. 8-25 lakhs from companies like Hike, Amazon, Adobe, ivy, josh etc.
- Companies mainly hire for software roles. Placements for other core branches is almost nonexistent.
- The average salary package is Rs. 3-4 lakhs pa.
- The alumni network is ok.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria for joining Dehradun Institute of Technology is passing the 12th with 65% of marks and clearing the JEE MAIN exam.
Fees and Scholarships
- Course fees at Dehradun Institute of Technology are more than Rs. 2,00,000 per year.
- Scholarships are awarded only in the first year. That too on basis of JEE or 12th marks.
- Some students do require loans to continue as fees are very high.
