Placements and Internships
- This year near about 19-20 companies came to Institute of Engineering and Management campus for providing placements.
- Key companies are a sankalp semiconductor, fusion chart, PWC, CTS, Infosys, TCS, tech Mahindra, Capgemini etc.
- This year average salary per year which is offered to the students is Rs. 3.5 lakh pa and highest salary are Rs. 6.3 lakh pa.
- 95% of the eligible students get placed on the campus.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There is a girls hostel present in Institute of Engineering and Management. I don't have much more information about boy's hostel.
- Hostel fees were Rs. 65k per year in my batch. Now the value has got increased little more probably to Rs. 80k per year.
- Food quality is average.
- Classrooms, labs, libraries are pretty good and wifi is also available both in college and hostels.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria for joining Institute of Engineering and Management is clearing the WBJEE exam or JEE MAIN exam.
- There is no typical cut-off for the course.
Academics and Faculty
- The class timings at Institute of Engineering and Management is from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm including 40 minutes of lunch break.
- Projects or assignments are given weekly basis or semester wise.
- Quality and method of teaching are also good and faculty helps the students in any doubts.
Fees and Scholarships

- We organize our own book fair, cultural fest, technical fest, sports competition during winter are held in Institute of Engineering and Management.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get in this college, you have to get atleast 60% marks in main subjects. In order to take admission in this college you have to give an exam named WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam) and you have to secure maximum 4,000 rank in this exam. I have secured 2,469 rank in WBJEE and I get CSE stream.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : My score was 93 and I got 1500 rank in WBJEE examination.I also appeared for JEE MAIN and JEE ADVANCED but my score was not good enough.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for Institute of Engineering and Management is that you need to give WBJEE to get admisssion in this college.Your rank should be apporximately under 2500 for getting CSE branch,under 3000 for ECE and 3500 for IT. For electrical and mechanical under 5000 will work.
