I'm not getting any stipend, as I'm in my 2nd year in Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences.
There is no scholarship facility available for the students.

The eligibility criteria for joining Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences is passing the 12th and clearing the AIPMT exam.
I belong to general category.
The cut-off is 500 out of 720 in AIPMT exam.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND ADMISSION PROCESS:

Eligibility criteria were to pass 12th-grade with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology securing 50% (40% for SC/ST) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The seat was allotted by Karnataka education authority(KEA) based on ranking in K-CET. I took Karnataka-common entrance test(K-CET) for getting into MBBS.
The typical cutoff for our college is around 500 K-CET rank(for general merit) and varies for different categories.

The fee structure is Rs.14,400 yearly and additional exam fee which is as prescribed by Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences, [MIMS] Mandya.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND ADMISSION PROCESS:

You should be within 500th CET ranking for GM and within 1500 to 3000 rankings on the basis of categories and/or you should get sufficient ranking in NEET for the admission.
From next year onwards, the admissions are probably based on NEET ONLY since CET is being phased off for admissions to Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences.

PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK:

After completing 4 and half years in Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences, you\'ll have a 1-year internship program with a stipend of about 20,000 rs per month for 12 months.

FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP:

The Fees is about 14,000 rs per year and about 18000 rs more during admissions.
The Students of Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences can get education loans easily from selected banks.
