- Key companies are amazon, google, Goldmann Sachs, l&t, Mahindra etc visit SRM University for placement.
- Almost 100℅ placement is provided.
- The average salary is about Rs. 3-4 lakhs. Highest is about Rs. 30-35 lakh.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- The infrastructure is very good at SRM University.
- Hostels are ok. There are around 9 hostels in for students.
- Hostel fee is around Rs. 50k for 1 year.
- PGs are available with at least Rs. 4k per month rent + additional expenses.
- Food is average. Fees is around Rs. 50k per annum.
- The key infrastructures are good. Labs are nice.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Eligibility criteria are to clear SRMJEEE to join SRM University.
- Admission was based on the basis of rank. Seats were allotted according to the rank.
- There were different categories for a particular branch each had different fee amount.
Academics and Faculty
- Class timings in SRM University are from 8 am to 4 pm with 1hr lunch in between. Some classes are free in between.
- There are 3 internal exams and 1-semester exam in each semester.
- A lot of assignments are given.
- The quality of teaching is ok.
- Overall experience is good. You get a lot of exposure and opportunities.
- Good atmosphere with a very nice library and campus.
Fees and Scholarships
- Course fee in SRM University is around Rs. 8.5 lakhs.
- Scholarships are given but I have no idea about it.
Clubs and Associations
- I have little or no idea about clubs but yes there are many clubs and societies to participate which will be helpful for overall development at SRM University. They give good exposure to you.
- Main festivals are Aarush and Milan.
- College life is awesome.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria is you should score a rank below 20,000 in the SRMJEE exam. The cutoff for my course is rank below 10,000 in SRMJEE.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : SRM Institute of Science and Technology is deemed to be a University which, has its own entrance exam - SRMJEEE, a computer-based examination for 125 marks in 2 hours and 30 minutes testing your physics, chemistry, math, English, and aptitude ( will have to appear for biology is your course requires) one who is desiring to join SRM should take up this exam and clear it, the rank obtained will decide your preference. Also, on cracking JEE Mains, you will be eligible for admissions in SRM. There are various campuses, and the eligibility criteria differ for each. In the Chennai campus for the B.tech course, a minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required in PCM subjects which also should be your core subjects. On fulfilling these criteria, you can secure your place in this college.
