Placements and Internships
- We can do internship from different companies like Google, Microsoft, American Express for getting experience.
- Companies are increasing day by day. We have different roles like data analyst, data scientist etc.
- Normally average salary is Rs. 10- 12 lakh per annum. More qualified people get a package in crores also. There is no shortage of job in the market.
- Almost every deserving candidate get a job. A Ld college has a lot of companies to offer the job.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are two separate hostels for girls and boys each at LD College of Engineering.
- Hostel fees are very much minimal Rs. 1000 per year.
- There are many PG outside the college. They vary from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 39,000 per year.
- Food quality is not too good, but it is not also worst.
- Canteen and mess prices are very minimal.
- Classrooms are well equipped with a project and modern technology.
- Wifi is not available in college.
- The campus is very big.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- First of all, we have to clear 12 standards from any education board like CBSE, GSEB, ICSE and other various board.
- I have given JEE MAIN for getting admission in LD College of Engineering.
- But from this year, the entrance exam is changed to GUJARAT PGCET.
- The cut off for Information technology is very high due to implementation of DIgital India. The student should be in top 2% to try to get admission in this course in this college.
Academics and Faculty
- Every day there is six hours in LD College of Engineering including one lab of two hours and four periods of one subject.
- Project and assignment are given According to the guidelines of Gujarat technological university (GTU).
- The faculty is very qualified. They have very much to give to a student. They all are very friendly.
- The overall experience of colleges is good.
- There is sometimes a problem of faculty not coming, fan not running etc.
- But the campus is very big and I have a wonderful experience in studying in this college.
Fees and Scholarships
- LD College of Engineering is government, a fee is Rs. 3,000 per year.
- Msuy scholarship is available.
- No need of a loan for such a small fess.
Clubs and Associations
- There are many clubs in LD College of Engineering like Robolcon, mind palace, environment club, NSS, NCC, Foss club(coding club) and other clubs.
- There are regularly arranged sportfest, cultural fest and seminars on management skill.
- In general, life is amazing at college.
