Placements and Internships
- I am presently in 1st year so I have not got any internship yet. But yes here Lots of our seniors starts doing an internship in end of 2nd year and a start of a 3rd year.
- Here average salary of my department is about Rs. 12 -13 lakh pa.
- Here Lots of company like Amazon, microsoft came for recruitment with good salary. Here 100 percent placement take place.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There is a shortage of rooms here so the hostel is provided only to economically backward class people.
- Hostel fees is Rs. 25 per month.
- Food Quality is awesome.
- PGs are available.
- Here hostel mess is Rs. 1,500 per month approx.
- The infrastructure of college is fantastic.
- The lab is well equipped with modern facility. Here 24 hrs wifi is available in college.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Eligibility criteria for getting admission in Jadavpur University is that you have to pass class 12th with any board.
- After that you Have to give WBJEE (west Bengal joint entrance examination) and you have to get under 1500 rank if you are in general category.
- If you want to get top branch like CSE, IT etc. Then you have to get a rank under 500.
- My self presently studying in information technology I have secured 476 ranks in WB JEE.
Academics and Faculty
- Jadavpur University normally starts at 10:00 am and ends at 5 pm.
- Here apart from theory practical lab, a project is mere emphasized.
- Quality education is provided here.
- Teaching methodology depends on the teacher some are ok where some other are awesome.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee is approx null at Jadavpur University here you Have to pay Rs. 2400 annually.
- Apart from that a lot of scholarship is provided like Alumni scholarship, freeship scholarship from college and Lots of scholarship like ONGC, FFE from outside So not to worry about fees here.
- If you need accommodation here and you are not able to pay for that then institute provide you hostel for Rs. 300 per year.
Clubs and Associations
- The clubs like Photography club is for photography lovers, Mounterring club for Mounterring lovers are organized in Jadavpur University.
- Here Lots of fest and events are organized starting from freshers.
