Placements and Internships

4.5

  • For the bachelors program, there is no internship compulsion for the first three semesters. However, the fourth semester has a compulsory internship clause, and any additional internships in any other semesters can prove to be a plus point.
  • Various companies hire students from the campus in vivid sectors. The lowest package as of now is 20K per month, while the highest has been 72K per month.
  • The alumni network is also very good.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4.5

  • There are 4 hostels for girls and 4 hostels for boys, a total of more than 450 students have been accommodated as of now in Tuljapur campus.
  • The hostel fee is quite reasonable, and similar is the case for the PG/Rents outside the campus.
  • The food in the campus is comparatively much better than any other campus or hostel in the district.
  • The quality of classrooms, library labs etc is very well maintained. And it is a wifi campus. The security and safety are given special care. Also is the same of the cleanliness.

Academics and Faculty

4

  • The students and staff have breakfast at 8 am, lunch at 1.30 pm, evening snacks at 5 pm and dinner at 8 pm, each of it for 1 hour respectively.
  • The classes timings are scheduled from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm, i.e. 3 subjects of two hours every day, and each subject has a 10 minutes break in each two hours session.
  • The quality of teaching is quite good enough and the method used is the group and one-to-one interaction.

Fees and Scholarships

4.5

  • The course fee is around 96K to 98K per year, paid in semesters. (However, it increases every year)
  • The PM-GOI scholarship and ICICI scholarship, are the two options for scholarship that a student can avail here at TISS. The ICICI scholarship is, however, open for, irrespective of caste.
  • The number of students who get the scholarship every year is not fixed, however, the number is quite good.

Clubs and Associations

4.5

  • There are many clubs and societies on the campus, viz drama, dance, sports, chess, etc.
  • The campus celebrates all the festivals of all the religions. Besides that the campus arranges its very own youth festival every year, in which many colleges from the state and surrounding states participate. The festival is called National Rural Youth Festival, wherein more than 17 colleges from 7 states participate each year.
  • In general, the college life is truly awesome. Worth learning a lot and lovable.
