Placements and Internships
- There are very few internship programs offered.
- The companies that visit for placements include TCS, Tech. Mahindra, Cognizant, Amazon for IT department. The number of students placed in companies each year from the college is around 70%.
- Average salary would be around 2 lakh per annum. Highest would be around 3.5 or 4 lakh per annum.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- No hostel facility is provided by the college. People usually stay at the nearby private hostels.
- The canteen which newly built can accomadate nearly 100 people at a time and the quality of food is good.
- Each class has a dias with sufficient space for the teacher and has good ventillation. The labs are excellent with good equiments and 4-5 lab assitants per each lab. The college is equiped with good Wi-Fi connection. There is very little space for outdoor games. But there are provisions for indoor games like table-tennis, chess etc.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria is intermediate or any equivalent degree or diploma.
- The admission process is done based on the TS EAMCET rankcard i.e, convenor quota. Some of the seats are filled of management quota.
- Typical cutoff for CSE. (OC) would be around rank of 10,000. Number of seats available for CSE is 120.
Academics and Faculty
- The class timing is from 9:40-4:10 with a 40 minute lunch break in between.(1:00- 1:40). Each class goes on for around 50 minutes. There are 2 internal exams scheduled for each semester and 2 assignments, given before the internal examinations for each subject.
- The quality of teaching is good.
- I would give the college a 6/10 overall, based on my experience.
Fees and Scholarships
- The Course fee for a year is around 53300 INR .
- Scholarship options are available.
- On an average, 40% of the class is given scholarship.
- Since the annual course fee is not very high,not many people apply for loans.
Clubs and Associations
- There is an association, named MCC(Matrusri Campus Connect) which organises alomost all the events in the college (from freshers day to annual day).
- There are other associtions also, like IEEE, CSI etc.
