  • Placement cell serves their best in the overall development of a student.
  • Companies like rakuten, TCSs, Morgan Stanley, Accenture etc. visit the college for placements.
  • The average salary is Rs. 7 lakhs and Highest salary is Rs. 36 lakhs.
  • The percentage of candidates getting placed is 85-87%.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

  • Until now only two hostels exists in Pune Institute of Computer Technology, [PICT] Pune.
  • But a number of PG's, hostels and rental flats are available outside premises.
  • Labs are highly equipped with the latest technology, Wi-Fi is available in college premises.
  • The college also has its own dining hall and the quality of mess outside college premises is good.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

  • Eligibility criteria for joining Pune Institute of Computer Technology, [PICT] Pune in 2016 for engineering admission in Maharashtra is based on marks of MHT CET was the whole and sole entrance pass for all category of students excluding NRI'S.
  • Entrance exam which I gave were JEE MAIN and obviously MH CET.
  • The cut-off for MHT CET(exam was out of 200) above 168 is required on an average for each branch (excluding Btech Planning) which is above 145 on an average for each branch (excluding instrumentation) which is above 155 on an average for each branch.

Academics and Faculty

  • Daily routine in Pune Institute of Computer Technology, [PICT] Pune is quite vigorous.
  • College starts at 8:00 clock and ends at 4:00 clock.
  • But teachers are awesome and are always ready to explain each and every student's doubt.
  • Truly speaking PICT is mindblowing college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The entrance examination for admission in PICT is JEE Main and MHT CET. The cutoffs are quite high as this college is ranked among the top 10 colleges in Pune.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I have taken my admission on diploma basis in my second year of engineering. But to take the admission in such a reputed college is very difficult so take admission your marks should be high. When I was admitted to the college at that time the cut off of our college was 87.06% for OBC.

Entrance Exams & Admissions :  A student has to pass 12th or Diploma. Also has to attempt entrance exams like MHT CET and JEE MAIN. The cut off for the computer branch was 160/200, for E and TC 145/200 and for IT it was 150/200.
