Placements and Internships
- I am yet to undergo with my internship programme.
- Well, I am working on a Live project with push champ, that will provide me with a stipend of 5000INR approximately. Christ University provides you with a good exposure, as companies like Deloitte, EY comes in to recruit for internships.
- If you are lucky enough, you get the pre-placement offer as well. Key Companies like Goldman Sachs, Ernst & Young, JP Morgan, Deloitte, comes in for placements in Finance specialisation. TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, CAPGEMINI are the key companies that hire for IT.
- Roles provided are basically a financial specialist, IT analyst. HSBC, BAJAJ FINSERV, HUL, PANTALOONS, RECKITT BENCKISER are few of the key companies that hire for marketing in roles like store manager, assistant manager, marketing analyst etc. Other companies are BMW, MERCEDES, ITC INFOTECH.
- These are just a briefing about the companies. 130 companies came in for placements in 2015. We assure 100% placement as well.
- Coming to the average package provided ranges from 5.5 lac to 6.5 lac( figures of 2016 OCT-NOV). Highest salary provided is 13 lac by CISCO(2015 figure).
- The Alumni network at Christ University is extremely strong. One who graduates from here always keeps in touch with the college faculties and the students as well.
- Pass outs from Christ University have reached glories and certain heights that every individual wish to reach in his or her life.
- 5 years down the line, most of them get promoted to management levels of reputed companies and this time they plan to come as recruiters.(Hitachi plans to come in for placement at CU, as they appreciate the performance of one of the alumni.[case of 2016].
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are separate hostels for boys and girls.
- The fee per annum ranges from 35000 to 50000 INR( Depending on the triple, double or single sharing options).
- The hostel is very well maintained. Cleaning staffs take care of everything. It's pretty hygienic to stay in the hostel.
- There is 24 hrs electricity, water, geyser facility, laundering facility, wi-fi.
- The PG's outside the college costs somewhere around 6500 to 8000 per month. The food here in college is very good, hygienic. You get a lot of options and variety of food to choose among.
- The meal cost ranges from 50 to 100. It is very affordable in here.
- The classroom and infrastructure are very well equipped with all the required technology. Projectors are there in each and every class.
- There are IBM LABS, SAP LABS. The library has got a wide variety of books.
- One can issue 4 to 6 books at a time. There is ample scope of learning out here if you wish to.
- The campus is wi-fi equipped.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria to apply for Christ University, Institute of Management are Management Aptitude Test (MAT), a composite score of 600. Please note: Only February, September and December MAT scores will be accepted for application.
- One can apply for other entrance exams as well: CAT 70 percentile CMAT 70 percentile GMAT 450 XAT 70 percentile.
- Please note: One must have above 55% in Graduation in order to apply for the same.
- Well, I applied into Christ University with MAT score. Currently, I am pursuing MBA in Marketing.
- The cutoffs for this course is a minimum of 60% in all the trimesters, anything equal to 65% and above is considered to be a good score.
- Rest cutoffs regarding application remain the same as mentioned in the start.
- You can also check abroad integrated MBA programmes, as Christ University has tie-ups with several reputed Universities abroad, in places like GERMANY, USA.
- It enables you with dual degree qualification.
Academics and Faculty
- The classes start at 8:30 am ( main campus), 9:00 am( Kengeri campus). It goes on till 4:30 pm ( depends on the schedule) We are evaluated on the parameters and scores based on continuous internal assessment( CIA's).
- We get to do a lot of projects, assignments, real-time case studies, that gives us a better exposure about the current market scenario.
- The quality and methods of teaching are exceptionally well.
- Christ University has a tie-up with Harvard Business School and other such reputed Universities from wherein we follow a similar course structure and we do a lot of case studies based on the current market scenario at a global level.
- All the teaching staffs and faculty members have an industry experience ranging from 13 yrs to 25 or 30 yrs.
- Having such faculties helps us to understand the complexities and the trend of corporate and business giants.
- The ambience, the crowd, the atmosphere, the environment here at Christ University is exceptional.
- People from all over India, varying in culture unite together and share a true bonding.
- Students with experience from corporate ranging from 2 yrs to 5 yrs enrich the cross-learning opportunities.

Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee has been revised to [Rs 3,55,000(1st yr)+Rs 3,40,000(2nd yr)] Rs 6,95,000 for people coming across from other states of India.
- Please note Fees for residents of KARNATAKA and NRI's slightly varies. Kindly refer our website for the same.
- There are ample opportunities for meritorious students as well. There is around 10 scholarship funding available for them.
- Loans are needed or not? This question depends on the creditworthiness of the applicant.
- The loan can be easily availed for the whole course from SOUTH INDIAN BANK. It's located inside the college itself.
Clubs and Associations
- There are clubs and societies like PIONEER( focusing on entrepreneurship) CSR (focusing on corporate social responsibility) Public speaking ( focusing on personality development) Quiz club( focusing on b quiz, b plans, etc) Altius is a sports event wherein all kind of sports battle is conducted.
- Blossoms is a cultural fest. Ushus is a national level fest.
- Conniasance is a national level fest. These are conducted every year and participants all across India hop in.
- The life in college is very beautiful. You get to meet so many people and you learn so many things from them.
- The weather out here in Bangalore makes it a very comfortable place to stay and study. The faculties are so friendly and have well-enriched knowledge.
- It gives us a great platform to showcase our talents and polish our potential.
