Placements and Internships
- As of now, we've been asked to do internships outside college on our own which gives us exposure and marks and it's compulsory.
- In our final year, we'll have internships in the college.
- Placements are not very good as the scope in our country is not very good as well.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There is one hostel in Madras School of Social Work, [MSSW] Chennai and as I attend college from home I do not know the fee.
- The food in the college is good and pretty cheap as told by my hostel friends.
- The quality of the classrooms, labs and libraries are not too shabby.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- After completing B.Sc Psychology I wrote an entrance examination for M.sc Psychology in MSSW and was amongst the top 25.
- Then we had an interview session where my certificates were checked and I was asked a few questions based on my undergraduate course after which I was given admission in Madras School of Social Work, [MSSW] Chennai.
Academics and Faculty
- As I attend an evening college in Madras School of Social Work, [MSSW] Chennai, my classes start at 13:30 pm and end 18:40 pm with half an hour break in between.
- We have five days a week and are given regular homework and assignments apart from lab/record work.
- In between semester exams we have monthly tests in which a percentage of it are taken for internals. The faculties are so good.
