Placements and Internships
- The college is quite active about any kind of extracurricular activity like training and educational industrial visit.
- The TPO(training and placement cell) provide every student training or internship at the end of the 6th semester and also provide good 85-90% for it jobs but little lag in key companies.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Infrastructure wise this is a modern institute with all the necessary facilities. There is 4 boys hostel and 4 separated girls hostel available inside of the campus and the hostel fees are near about Rs.6000 .
- There is all the require labs available and library facility, canteen, and Wi-Fi available.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Heritage institute of technology,Kolkata is one of the best private college here in west Bengal for any engineering department. To get in here you need to appear to the west Bengal joint entrance exam(WBJEE) and secure a good rank near about Rs.3000-7000 for various streams respectively.Then you can apply through the online choice filling or counseling process where you can get the stream you want. The exam is quite a standard exam and comparatively toughest exam in east India region. All the questions are MCQ type carrying different marks
Academics and Faculty
- The daily routine schedule is strictly followed everyday without any gap.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee for each semester is near about Rs.45000.
- The scholarship is available for West Bengal domicile students whose income is less than Rs.2.5 lakhs per annum.
Clubs and Associations
- Heritage has an active students' council under which we have a lot of clubs for music, dance, debate, drama, science, book reading. HITK use to organize one of the best cultural fests in KOLKATA with reputed singers like- Mohit Chauhan coming every year.
- The college life is awesome over here. You can enjoy the fullest in here and live your dream college hours. HERITAGE is also good in providing sports support to the students,like- football,cricket,Archery, basketball,athletics etc.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Getting into the right college according to your marks in the board exams is a big deal. But when you are interested in studying civil engineering, Heritage Institute of Technology is a great choice after clearing the joint entrance exams and having a decent score. Cutoffs are not an issue.
