College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There is a well-equipped library at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee with a number of books, e-journals and computer center Banks.
- There are two banks on-campus: the Punjab National Bank and the State Bank of India which provides a loan to the students.
- IIT Child Care Centre (CCC)is a part of IIT Adarsh Bal Niketan (ABN), which takes care of the children of women employees which are in the age-group of 6 weeks to 10 years/ working couples/ girl students/ research scholars.
- The institute has many caféterias, which have emerged as the students' favorite haunts. Apart from the all-night canteens, which are present in each hostel, there are 3 major cafés on campus, namely Nescafé, Alpahar, and the University Canteen Accommodation facilities.
Clubs and Associations
- The major clubs are as follows in IIT Roorkee they are Hobbies Club: The Hobbies Club conducts various activities related to gardening, photography, star gazing and web designing.
- UG Club, It deals with various sports activities such as pool, billiards, snooker etc.
- PG Club deals with table tennis, football, and caroms.
