Placements and Internships
- I haven't attended any internship till now.
- A few key companies like IBM, Tech Mahindra, Coca-Cola, Mindtree, Accenture etc. comes for placements in SVCE.
- The average salary is 3 lakh per year and highest paid is 6 lakh per year. Around 25% of each batch gets placed in SVCE.
- Almost around 220 people from various branches are in touch and are called for various meets.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There is one hostel in SVCE. It is well furnished and cleanly maintained. The hostel fee is INR 60000 per year.
- The PGs outside the college costs around INR 9000 per month. Some are good and some PGs are old.
- The food is of average. One meal costs around INR 40.
- The quality of classrooms, labs, libraries, Wi-Fi and others are excellent.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- My eligibility criteria were to pass 2nd PUC in science stream with good marks. I was admitted through the government quota under CET entrance exam in Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering, [SVCE] Bangalore.
- The typical cutoff rank was around 28000.
Academics and Faculty
- Every day the college starts from 8.30 am and ends at 4.30 pm only. This timing is for all the classes, irrespective of their sem.
- There are no bad comments about the quality and method of teaching. It is excellent.
- The overall experience in SVCE is best.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee is INR 58,000 IN SVCE.
- There is only one scholarship available from government and most of the students don't get it sanctioned.
- Only around 60 students get scholarship on average.
Clubs and Associations
- There are nothing like student societies and clubs. But for ECE, we have associations like IETE and IEEE.
- Udyukta (Tech fest), Kalaavaibhava (tech, non-tech, sports fest), Shrusti (cultural fest) are the main festivals in SVCE.
- This college is the place for every student's development. We enjoy a lot by celebrating birthdays, teachers day, Ganesha festival, Holi etc.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria is to score 75% or above in 12th-grade. To get a government quota seat, the rank around 20-30k in CET is required. One can also get in through management quota. I had a percentage of 72 in my PUC and I took admission through CET and my rank was around 27k.
