Placements and Internships
- The placement is same as any other average college. A lot of key companies turn up for placements like HCL TCS and Infosys which are the major Recruiters but at the end of the day, it is up to the candidate's potential because there are people who have been placed in Google and Audi etc. The average package is about 3.5 LPA-like any other decent engineering college.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- The Infrastructure is average if you compare it to other private universities and IIT etc. But it certainly has the best Infrastructure when compared to all other GGSIPU colleges, from basketball courts to valley ball court we have it all, a peaceful library space. The only thing I regret is the college canteen where the food is horrible, and I certainly feel the need of Wifi in our college.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The entrance exam is what IPU follows and getting admission in this college is pretty difficult, you need to score a decent rank in the exam. The exam is easy but the no. of questions are a lot so time needs to be managed properly during the exam duration.
Academics and Faculty
- The classrooms are spacious. The college provides a good study environment if you are a person willing to do something. The faculty is very helpful and is willing to pull an extra limb to help a student out, the Engineering curriculum is what I personally feel is useless as it focuses on Theory whereas Engineering being a practical profession needs more Industry Education. Other than that I feel the college tries it's level best to educate its students.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee is nominal INR 45,000 per semester which is pretty affordable for the standards of a private engineering college.
Clubs and Associations
- The societies of our college are best at what they do and they have a huge amount of respect in the entire college circuits, that is the best thing about our college. Each and every society is dedicated and all of them win tons of awards.
- There are cultural societies like Quintessence (debsoc) Awaaz (Event Management Soc.) Swaranjali( Music Soc.) Dazzlers (dance soc.) To technical societies like Robogyaan and IEEE which are the places to be at if you want to learn the practical aspect of engineering. The societies at NIEC are like families away from home.
