Placements and Internships
- Internship programmes are conducted every year for final semester students. MNCs from all the corners of the world recruit brilliants offering excellent packages. Key companies such as TATA, HP, AMBUJAS, MAHINDRA, ACCENTURE, SP, VODAFONE, IDEA, HETTICH, and much more come for placements. Packages up to INR 12 LPA and minimum 4 LPA are offered. 94% of batches get selected every year. There are huge supportive alumni connecting all over the world.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- At least 10 hostels including boys and girls with the best infrastructure and beautiful surroundings. Healthy meals available anytime.
- Thousands of PGs available in the vicinity of the college.
- Hostel fee is INR 10,000.
- Hostel and campus, library, labs etc all are pleased with wi-fi facility. Clean and tidy, completely equipped labs with modern technology.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- A student with PCM subjects in higher secondary schools passed with 60% aggregate is eligible to apply for technical courses. Beside this, when I had applied there were AIEEE tests to qualify, which is now changed to IIT examinations. So if you score well in the competitive exam within required cut off set up by the college, the admission into college will be successful.
Academics and Faculty
- Experienced and best professors from all over the India. Some are designated with national awards in the profession.
- Classes are not tightly bounded or stressful. Relaxed enough timings and limited lectures provide an atmosphere of peaceful knowledge.
- Practical experiment, extra curriculum activities, students societies to enhance technical creativity.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee for government employees families it's about INR 90,000. Scholarships & concessions are available for poor students, and for those who belong to minority classes, NRI, border livings, out of state. Students from poor families get up to 75% fee concession. 60% of total students getting scholarships.
- Loans are not required when there is relief of such a huge margin. Otherwise, PNB, PSB, SBI etc are available.
Clubs and Associations
- There are lots of clubs for students like womenswear, student societies like eess, aice, sciet, aces, etc. Techfest, cultural youth fest, athletic meets, bhangra association, genesis, etc are main attractions of the campus life. Nobody can ever get bored in this college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria are to be +2 Science Passed With Min 60%. A student must have appeared in JEE MAIN entrance examination with a valid rank. The admission is reserved 85% for the candidates of Punjab & 15% for the rest of the states. If any of the seats undergo inapplicable in the reserved category are again opened for the unreserved ones. The general typical cutoff for BTech electrical is up to 95000 AIR for online counselling Where as the On the spot round fluctuates up to 1-1,50,000 AIR to get into GNDEC Ludhiana.
