The university won't help you in getting any scholarships. You are on your own in that case. You have to constantly check for these opportunities and grab them as soon as they appear. But keep in mind that to get an internship from colleges other than IITs, NITs, you have to show that you are better. Hence keep enhancing your skills and also don't let your CGPA go down as getting good marks here isn't quite difficult.
For placements, plenty of companies visits GNDU every year. And if you are pretty serious to get placed then at the end of your course, you'll definitely have at least an offer in your hand. The visiting companies include TCS(Mass Recruiter), Capgemini(Mass Recruiter), Tech Mahindra(Mass Recruiter), Amdocs, Code Brews, John Deere etc. The selection procedure of each company can be found on the internet.
The salary package varies from INR 2.0 lakh to 7.0 lakh p.a.
These days the placement department have started asking for alumni help to refer their juniors in their own companies. It's a pretty sweet gesture by the department and it'll surely help in increasing the selection ratio of the university. GNDU maintains a database of all of its alumni so that they don't lose contact with anybody.
