Placements and Internships
- Now I'm selected by Becon delve company and they promised me to pay INR 7000-15000 stipend during the training period. Many companies visit our campus on weekly basis like Aptron Tech, Hewlett-Packard, Athensoft e.t.c Salary packages differ accordingly student performance but the average salary for a fresher is in between INR 25000-30000.
- Alumni network controlled by our prof Gurbahar Singh is well organised and provide our best companies for placements.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- 4 hostels for boys and about 3 hostels for girls. Hostel fee is INR 8500 for 6 month PG option is a little bit expensive I heard from somebody that PG fee is INR 5000 per month .
- Food in college is Average.
- Class room, wifi, lab, the library is good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Eligibility criteria for my course was 60% marks in 12 the standard . I am not sure about JEE selection process that's why I choose management and just pay 6000 more in the college fee and choose Btech.IT. During Admission time I have heard lot of rumours that Student prefer to choose mechanical and civil engineering much but a Wise professor came to me and says most of Student use to go with their friends and some of them are restricted by their parents & relatives to choose a specific stream but he came close to me and whispers in my ear don't follow the crowd blindly those words forced me to think . Then I start researching about placement criteria in all streams and found that IT is the newest and can grow efficient in future as you can see how much IT has grown today that's why I choose Btech.IT.
Academics and Faculty
- The daily routine is good teacher came on time provide assignment on time exams are properly scheduled Students projects are also well monitored . The quality of teaching is good. I myself only done the hard work in the 2nd ,4th,7 th semester overall experience is average.
Fees and Scholarships
- Course fee for a student from sc/st candidates is less but for general category, candidates are INR 43000per/sem But they can fill their scholarship program if they face any fee problem. College also provides extension if any student wants some time. The average student who gets scholarship may be in between 15-20 students from each branch. Yes, I think loans are needed for many students because college committee also takes tuition fee in 6-month training I don't know why because other colleges don't take 6month tuition fee.
Clubs and Associations
- There are very less student society clubs maybe less than 3.
- Festivals in campus motivational programs, khalsa sports, cricket competition e.t.c For a student who pays full fees of INR 50000 for them the life in college is average.
