Internships are vocational based training that undertook 6 weeks to 8 weeks.
Companies related to automobiles and Manufacturing hire at DAV University, [DAVU] Jalandhar.
Average of 60% marks or above in degree is needed to be eligible for placements.

3 hostels are there on the campus in which 2 hostels are for girls and 1 for boys.
The hostel fee is Rs.60000 per annum.
PG's facility is also available outside the university.
About 4-6 food corners are available at different places of the university with a reasonable rate of food.
Classrooms and Labs are well equipped and air conditioned.
Wifi facility is available on the entire campus.
Labs, library, canteen, playground, hostels, all are available in DAV University, [DAVU] Jalandhar.

The eligibility criteria for admission in any course at DAV University, [DAVU] Jalandhar is based on the 12-grade percentage.
Students must have at least 60% marks or above in 12th-grade.
For SC/ST/OBC students 55% marks or above is required in 12th-grade.
No entrance exam is conducted by the college.

The official class timing at 9:00am to 4:00pm .
3 Surprise tests were conducted in between the semester out of which only two marks are added to the final result.
Mid-semester tests took place at the mid of the semester of which 30% marks are added in the final result.
End-term Examination took place at the end of the semester of which 50% marks are added in the final result.
The final result is the sum of the percentage of above tests.
Overall experience at DAV University, Jalandhar regarding examination is very good.

Admission fee is Rs.25000 at the time of admission.
Scholarships are based on Academic record and caste scheme.
The average number of students who get scholarships are about 20-30%.
Education Loans are easily provided by State Bank Of India, Sarmastpur which is located in DAV University, [DAVU] Jalandhar.

Culturally based clubs and Department based clubs are associated with the campus.
All the festivals organised by the student societies in DAV University, [DAVU] Jalandhar are celebrated with a huge crowd and great a response by the students.
Basically main motive of the university is the overall growth of students in the field of academic, sports cultural etc.
